Tributes at conventions

 

 

This series started as a joke. An annoying little performance that made me start every meeting with "best wishes", for a full month... at first we smile, then...

On the occasion of annual greetings, moments of exchange of good feelings, of sometimes perfectly sincere wishes, sometimes superficial and conventional, the habit was taken to play of this social convention to create a message. More or less enigmatic, poetic, political, a manifestation for friends and all those I appreciate but to whom I don't give any sign of life during the year in spite of real feelings towards each one.

 

Thus, in a ritual way, these "hom'ages" followed one another and formed a series where some experiments did not fail to slip in. The first one was a short message: "May it be as soft as a knife between the pulp and the skin", to the following ones in argentic, a second series imposed itself with the use of digital.

 

A series necessarily "in progress"...
