"Seeing" is the source of discovery and knowledge. Commonplace.

 

 

 

To see to know, to observe to reflect, to let the glance wander to question as much as to imagine. But photographers are monocular beings, "one-eyed". The camera acts as an oculus, a bull's eye through which the "real" filters, deafens, passes and is inscribed as much as it fails on a surface.
